RE: AGW 3

I viewed it more as a bonding weekend for Gilbert & Matthew, without me constantly saying “Be careful” and “don’t do that you are going to get hurt”
Just my .02
Don't forget the high pitched screaming from the rhino you emit.

RE: AGW 3

I'm thinking, to avoid any confusion that we should rename this event for this year to ADW (All Dudes Weekend) :B

RE: AGW 3

#3- Maybe our wives love us enough to say: "Go out and have a good time with the guys".
An insinuation is a remark or question, typically disparaging, that works obliquely by allusion. The intention is often to insult or accuse someone in such a way that one's words, taken literally, are not innocent.
Barb, why in the **** would I insinuate that? If you took it that way, I apologize. Let me rephrase: "Concerning myself only, My wife loves me enough to say: "Go out and have a good time with the guys".

RE: AGW 3

Maybe this didn't occur to any of you but its possible that my husband doesn't want to go riding with out me?? Because he knows that i love going on riding trips more than he does?
I do not need a chill pill or have a discussion, maybe none of your women like riding?
See my husband thinks i am special enough not to disclude me from my addiction.
Oh i think you all need to make your trip the weekend of the 14th i am totally sure your wives will not mind i mean why would they want to spend any lovey time with you guys anyway:?
But hey you guys have lots of fun with this while i will wonder wow i am glad i married my husband who doesn't feel the need to ditch me for an all gay weekend:h
Oh it just occurred to me! your women want to get RID of you guys for the weekend :S
Changed my mind.....
#1- Most of us are not wanting the 14th as the date, hence we want to spend that time with our wives.
**Clearly a joke, Sorry it didnt come across that way!***
#2- Can't speak for everyone, but I think you know how my wife and and Raptorgirl feel about riding.
***** Didn't say they didn't, Many other ladies in the group like to do it as well.****
#3- Maybe our wives love us enough to say: "Go out and have a good time with the guys".
*****So your saying i do not? Not a very nice thing to insinuate*****
#4- Most of us include our wives on every trip, which in our case is alot. One weekend a year will not kill her.
*****True, But if you go back to the first post where i stated AGW COOL! all girls weekend well where is that?****
Bottom Line: If you won't allow Terry to go, or Terry doesn't want to leave you behind, that's between you guys. But for you to say that the reason our wives let us go is because they don't like ridng, or they want to get rid of us is so off base it's not even funny.
**** The bottom line was my responses were made in jest,Yes that is between us but for some reason some of you feel the need to ridicule anothers feelings on such a matter, And off base? guess i didn't use enough smilies or something but i sure didn't need to be made to feel badley for speaking my opinion as a joke which it was so who ever goes as always have a great safe time
*****So your saying i do not? Not a very nice thing to insinuate*****
Show me where I said anything of the sort.

RE: AGW 3

February 14th? What brainiac thought that one up? I say the 7th.
After a few discussions with Hockeymom regarding this, Terry Can go to AGW. He just can't take the Truck, Hauler, Bike, Rhino, Food, Drinks, or clothes. Other than that, she has no problem with him going.

Definatley In. FormerTaterhead would be one to contact as well. If Strabo doesn't surface to take point, I say Golfman is the new organizer.
Do I hear a second?

RE: Those poor Bluehairs

I think I have to agree with Fulltimer. Those toyhauler thingys have way to many speakers, and spekers Outside Too! Why? Why not just have your friends inside? I know i cringe everytime I see one of those Toyhauler thingys enter MY campground. So go ahead Derwud, play your loud music, I'll be the one calling the Ranger. :) ;)

RE: New Ragen Toy Hauler - Towing Help

Just picked up this bad boy at an RV Clearance Sale to support my Track Day / Racing habbit.
http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l6/ThreeSixT/RageNFB2500FT-3.jpg
http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l6/ThreeSixT/RageNFB2500FT-4.jpg
Its a 28 footer and the weight specs state:
Hitch Weight 1,040 lbs
Dry Weight 7,240 lbs
Gross Weight 13,040 lbs
Cargo Weight 5,800 lbs
Axle Weight 12,000 lbs
The dealer told me the dry weight was 8,300 lbs, so I thought I would be fine even with the bike and other gear loaded in (500 lbs) since my truck is supposed to be able to tow almost 10,000 lbs, but that seems like just the Hitch and Dry Weight combined. Can someone shed some light on this? Also, this is a travel trailer, not a 5th wheeler. Am I screwed here?
As for the truck, I have an 08 Tundra CrewMax 5.7L 6AT 4x4 Limited with Tow package, but with standard mirrors. I already have a Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller and they are installing the weight distribution hitch, but is there anything else I will need right away?...better suspension, tires, etc?
Thanks in advance!
Two words......Air Bags.......they are your friends

RE: Any Toyhauler Models For A Toyota Tacoma

My son has a 2003 Toyota Tacoma (V6) and is not willing to move up to a full sized pick-up. He loves his little truck :B
Are there any small feather weight self contained toyhaulers that he might consider a match for pulling with his Toyota?
He would be hauling one dirt bike.
Where's Viking? He's got a little truck.:B
Bite me. Tundra is different than a Taco

Ok Eric, I wouldn't make this offer to just anyone, but since we live close and all.......I'am prepared to offer my Tundra....yes, I know it's unbelievable, for your Dodge straight accross! Let me know and I will come over and we an make the switch. This is a limited time offer as I have a waiting list for this truck.

RE: Anyone cancelling there 4th of july trip ??

Maybe it just me but I find myself in a good place. I can either
#1- spend the fuel money and go away for the holidays
or
#2- I can at stay home, save the fuel and have the wife and daughter say they are going to the mall. Either way I'm spending the $$. Might as well do something I enjoy too.
